On Wednesday, the Illinois High School Association reported that they have made changes to the start dates for Spring sports.
Softball can now begin practicing on Monday April 5 and are allowed seven dates for practice before games begin. Currently, the first game schedule by CISassigning is May 3. The shift in start dates will likely mean additional games being scheduled by area schools.
As schools schedule additional dates, I will add them to the Available Games page as normal.
The Spring softball season will end June 19, and the IHSA has not yet decided if there will be a state finals series for the sport.
